Pharmacy First
Pharmacists can be a great first point of contact for many common health issues! Here's how they can help you:
- Provide expert clinical advice on minor illnesses.
- Recommend and supply over-the-counter medicines for conditions like:
- Sinusitis (for adults and kids 12+)
- Sore throat (adults and kids 5+)
- Earache (kids and teens 1–17)
- Infected insect bites (1+)
- Impetigo (1+)
- Shingles (adults 18+)
- Urinary tract infections in women (16–64)
Plus, through the Pharmacy First scheme, pharmacists can actually consult with you and, if needed, supply antibiotics—so you might avoid the wait and hassle of visiting your GP for these issues.
It’s a convenient, quick way to get expert help for common illnesses.
